About Me
My name is Josh Coen. For 30 years, I've been honing the craft of helping humans communicate as an advertising copywriter. When animal communication blipped onto my radar toward the end of 2014 through a thrift store book, a light went on. Here was a way to combine a great passion and a great desire of mine: my lifelong love of animals and the ability to communicate (with them!) telepathically. I had to learn this. Maybe I had been preparing my whole life to get to this point and be ready for something like animal communication! Surely my love for the animal kingdom and my gentle approach to life would make me a natural at this, right?
Apparently not. After finishing the book (and subsequently many others) and taking an online workshop a few months later, I still found I couldn't really connect in the ways that others were. I was frustrated! Especially because I had been trying to activate my psychic "clairs" for about five years already, seemingly with little success. I learned Reiki and many other energy healing modalities and tried attunements, subliminal meditations, hypnosis, binaural and solfeggio music tracks, countless books, and numerous video tutorials. I also created this website to make it easier for others walking a similar path.
I was determined to succeed with animal communication and worked at it every day. After several months, I finally started having some small results! Unfortunately, soon after, I experienced some energetic shifts that really threw my headspace out of whack and I wasn't able to focus on AC for the next six months. By then, I had lost the little confidence I had, and went back to just reading and watching from the sidelines. Which is why the message I got from a brilliant cat on Day 1 of the 30-Day Animal Communication Practice Challenge (August 2016) was so perfect!
Turns out, the Challenge was a turning point for me. Instead of struggling to connect with animals and having little to show for it, the forced break I described above became the space I needed to distance myself from ways which were working for others, but not me, and step into my own style, using my own strengths. The results, as you can read from my Challenge Journal, were incredible.
I decided to continue documenting my animal communication journey even after the Challenge to give other learners new perspectives, different approaches, and even renewed hope that they will discover their own super powers and find what works for them in animal communication.
