A Fish Story. As I listened to Gaia Healing Earth's Frequency 7.83hz Music - Schumann’s Resonance, slowly trying to tune out the world, I asked the universe, "So, what's on the syllabus today? What new and exciting lessons will you bring me?" A fish came to the surface and asked me to dive with him, to take the plunge — if I wanted. I wasn't sure if this was a real invitation, but I followed. I found I could breathe under water. I followed the fish through a dark, narrow tunnel and out the other end into a bright sea with colorful fish swimming everywhere. "Do you recognize this place?" asked the fish. "No, I've never been here," I answered. But he felt differently. "You have. In another life." "I was a fish?" I wondered. "You were. I knew you then, as I know you now. I was your mother!" I needed to know more. "So you continued being a fish and I chose a different path?" "Not exactly. You are still a fish." My "knowing" kicked in and I thought I knew where he was going with this. He said, "Time is only time if you want it to be. Otherwise, it's nothing. No barrier to experiences." Trying to understand, I asked, "Are you saying that all of our life experiences are playing out at the same time, through different dimensions or lives?" "Uh-huh. Keep going, my son. <Snickered like he was just teasing me.> "So in another life experience, I am a fish and you are my mother. And that's going on right now somewhere else?" "Right-o. And not just your fish life, but a thousand other lives. All right now. Can you guess the consequences?" Again my "knowing" handed me an answer. "I'm willing to bet that some of the intuitive knowing and even conversations I get through animal communication and other connections are truly based on knowing — because I'm living those moments right now. All I am doing is tapping into those living experiences. So it's really me giving me those answers." "Doesn't that sound familiar?" asked the fish. "Didn't you express your concern over these conversations with animals you've been having that perhaps your mind is making them up, that they are coming from you instead of from elsewhere? "Hmmm. And so they truly are, then. But in a different way than expected," I pondered. "Ayuh." He snickered again about inserting this expression, which I had always found strange and funny. "From our lives together on the farm," he explained. "Breathe!"As I considered all of this, I felt like time had stopped. "Breathe," he reminded me. "You still have to breathe down here." "Are you saying everything I know is because I personally experienced it?" I asked. "I wouldn't go that far. You know a lot from your own experiences, but you can also learn from others' experiences, your soul family, for example. You're especially tapped into them and it's easier to share between you." "But we each have our own filter, dreams, desires, goals, expectations, so wouldn't we each experience things differently?" I questioned. "Of course. That's the point of sharing. Convergence. Explore other perspectives. We are all one big interconnected life with a million kazillion different experiences and sides. You experience some as others; they experience some as you. Then you can compare notes — if you ever desire." "Your point of all this is…" I asked expectantly. "You know more than you know. You have access to even more than that. You are learning to tap in to that expanse. Not only to your own experiences and knowings, but to others'." "But how will I know which are mine and which are others'?" "In the end, does it really matter? They are all just experiences to explore." "It kind of matters. I would want to know if what I am knowing or seeing is mine or someone else's. I would think mine would be more important to me or maybe resonate more." The fish had an answer for that, too. "If it resonates with you in your experience right now, then what more matters? Those other experiences are lived by 'someone else,' and not by the same you as you are right here and now." "But doesn't the soul keep some of those things constant over 'time?'" I asked. "Yes, the soul collects some of those experiences and many of them show up as preferences or magnetisms, or resonances in many of a soul's lives. An underlying personality, if you will. But it's still wide open for anything." "This is quite a deep conversation," I realized. "And you're just now understanding why a fish is bringing it to you?" <Another little lighthearted jab.> "Ah. Got it." He continued, "If this conversation and its content feels right to you, keep it. If it doesn't, throw it back in. It's what life is all about." "Thank you, that's good advice." "It's all good advice… if you resonate with it," he reiterated. "I never really got a tour of this place," I mentioned. "Another time. School's out." "Okay. Thank you from the depths of my heart," I said with a grin. "Now who's playing with words?" "Yeah, threw that in for ya," I told the fish. <smile> "You can find your way out of here?" he asked. "Up, right?" "Yep, you always go up from here," he said with wisdom. I knew that reference wasn't just about the water, but about life and soul experiences. I was also getting the feeling that this fish as my "mom" perhaps referred to the Universe or Mother Nature and not my "real" mom somewhere. "Thanks…uh, Mom," I said turning to leave. <smile> "Just keep swimming, son. Just keep swimming," he said as we parted ways.
