"Hi Jax, I'm Josh," I introduced myself. "I know," he replied in a gentle, friendly way. "Oh, you knew I'd be here?" I asked a bit surprised. "Way ahead of you." "So…the body scanning…" I wondered if he also knew why I was here. "Yep," he confirmed. "You okay with that?" I asked. "Well, the doctor already did something like that," he said. "What did the doctor find?" I thought I should ask. But again, he was way ahead of me. "Am I supposed to be telling you this? What about the body scanning practice?" "Ha! Yep, you got me. I'm fairly new to this and so far it's been more of a conversation than a scan. But I'd really like to learn the scanning part. Are you able to help me?" "Sure… Settle yourself. Get grounded," he coached. I felt grateful for the help and interrupted by thanking him for this tutorial even though he likely wasn't feeling well. "No worries," he explained. "You're talking physical and I'm talking to you spiritually or energetically. I feel fine in this state." "Okay, good to know." "Continue?" he asked. "Yes." "Okay, look into my eyes. Then visualize yourself switching positions with me, so you are the one looking out of my eyes." I tried it and got some fuzzy images of his surroundings, but nothing too clear. As I tried to acclimate to this, I felt a difficulty breathing. Something through my chest every time I breathed. I didn't feel it so clearly that I felt it was mine and that I really was having breathing problems. But the knowing was there. "This is how you are feeling, Jax?" "Yes, for now," he replied. "Does that mean you'll get better?" "Yes, eventually." "So you're not worried?" "No, not really." I settled back into his space and felt nausea. I heard pneumonia. "Did I hear that right?" I asked. He gave a small smile. He seemed very confident, laid-back, knowing. He definitely has a big-picture view of life and knows this is just one small part of it. "What can we do to help you?" I asked. I heard antibiotics. "Is there anything else, health-wise, you want to show me? This didn't really feel like the kind of body scan I was expecting." He answered wisely, "Does it matter how we did it as long as you get the information?" "I guess not." He continued, "Body scanning can be done in many ways… hearing, seeing, feeling, tasting. Release your expectations and see how it unfolds for you. It's unique for everyone." "Thank you." I was grateful for his guidance. "You're welcome. And no, there's nothing else I want to show you today." "Okay. I hope you feel better soon." He smiled again, a gentle, knowing, sweet smile. I was about to disconnect when I thought I would ask if he wants me to send him healing. "Oh, that would be nice," he replied. "So glad I could help you!" As I began sending the healing, he breathed deeply, with no sign of the labored breathing from before. It felt like it didn't mean he is cured, but that it is the right thing for him. I promised to send him healing as long as he needed and said goodbye for now. -- A short while after the conversation, an idea came to me to do a pendulum test to confirm what I had gotten, as I was still unsure. I first "calibrated" the pendulum (clockwise is yes, counter-clockwise is no) and asked if he has pneumonia and got a yes. I asked if what I heard from Jax was correct and got a yes. Feedback:Thank you for connecting with Jax! Since your assessment is different from the others, it deserves its own special response. 🙂 I find it amazing that Jax was helping to guide you through the process in your initial connection... but then again, animals are much better at this than humans! Jax was at the vet for a full wellness check in June. she checked his eyes, heart, all joints, ears, etc. and he received his rabies vaccination. No blood work was done at this appointment. As far as the vet was concerned, Jax was doing fine and was healthy. No concerns. We do believe that Jax had a respiratory problem earlier in the year... whether it was pneumonia or not we do not know for certain but it cleared up on its own. He was not given any antibiotics either... just let it run its course as he was still eating and drinking. Jax may have been showing you something in the past? He shows no sign of sneezing, coughing, runny eyes, or laboured breathing at this time. I will say that Jax is about 19 pounds, while he is a big cat I feel he needs to lose some weight. He actually was 22 pounds at one point. Maybe the breathing is weight related? It is strange that everyone picked up on his eyesight. We have not noticed a problem but that does not mean it doesn't exist. He did have an eye infection a couple of months ago and was given eye drops by the vet. It has cleared up. Again, you picked up nausea which the others did too. He has vomited after gulping down his food too fast on occasion.
