Food bowl – saw a large translucent bluish Tupperware bowl. “Mommy lets me eat out of it sometimes.”
Personality – gentle but spunky, with a sense of humor. An “older lady” with some sass. Sweet and friendly. “I like to show humans how to lighten up. Like if there is a tense situation, I might try to lighten the mood by crawling under blanket and making it move, or making a houseplant look like it’s growing from my head.” Still pretty active. Likes to climb from one level to another, just for fun. Who lives with her? I see a young boy – grandson? And a man with a short beard – black with some gray. Favorite places are the kitchen counter and the top of the sofa. She sleeps in a big comfy chair in the bedroom. Favorite foods are canned Fancy Feast, and catnip. Past health: Hairballs, infected gums, splinter. When I ask about current health, I feel a shrinking feeling. Diminishing. Like in movement or generally compared to when she was younger. Stories: “You don’t know how good you have it today. When I was young, we had to sleep 15 hours a day barefoot – in winter!” (Joking) “Humor keeps me young!” “I’ve been a long line of cats in past lives. But also a cobra and an Asian bear. I’m thinking of coming back as a gummy worm next.” (Joking) Any other stories? You don’t want to hear my stories. Yes, I do! Another time. Come back again. Bring kippers and we’ll talk.
