The first feeling I got when I tuned in was "gentle giant." But I also felt like he could go on high alert sometimes, too (not always laid back). He puts his face right up alongside mine (touching it) and does lots of “air licking,” almost like he knows nobody wants such big wet kisses directly on the face! (Or maybe that's just me). I try to tap into his energy to see how he felt. I immediately got a burst from his side/abdomen. I didn’t feel pain (doesn’t mean there isn’t any), it was just sort of a fast snap, a sharpness that burst through in a moment. I introduced myself and told him I live across the world. He asked if I’m going to stop by. “I’m too far away for that,” I replied. He feels a little sad/lost. I asked why and he said he’s in the middle of things, so things aren’t settled. He’s unsure where things are going and where they will end up. I told him “I understand. I often feel that way. But we always land somewhere, just like cats! So at least you can count on that.” It felt like despite any small differences he may have with the cats in his family (or they have with him), they do give him comfort and support. I was thinking of asking him what he likes to eat and immediately got a visual of him eating some kind of puff pastry? I’m sure that’s not on his menu, but I wonder if he’s ever had it “accidentally” and has good memories of it? I wondered what he likes to do and I see him going from place to place in the house, “checking” on things. Kind of keeping tabs on what everyone is doing. Not necessarily like a guardian, just like a friend who cares about others in the house and enjoys spending time with them. I get a visual of him playing with a ball, too. It’s pretty small compared to his big body, but he has fun with it. Lots of slobber! Favorite part of his day? I sort of get a feeling of visiting with chickens. I see him getting all excited when it’s time to go feed some birds or animals. I see grains being tossed and he jumps up and around excitedly. But it feels like it’s just a first stop on the way to somewhere else. Feedback from his person:You’re more right than you know re: him being lost — we’re still not sure he’ll make it (he's sick). And yes, the abdomen is a problem. He also air licks for pain, so well done! The cats love him and support him, as well as the other way around. He travels in the car and checks on everyone. And you’re SO RIGHT re: the slobber!!!!!!!!!! He's showing you me feeding the swamp hens when I feed the horse. He sits in the car when I do it, but clearly enjoys it. The ‘puff pastry’ Sage was talking about was a croissant. I’ve since bought him one, and he’s had it. He asked me to thank you from him. 😀 And the high alert is exact, he goes from sleep to alert in a millisecond.
