ThinkIt's so easy to get caught up in the seriousness of learning animal communication. And some animals are so good at giving us a good shake and saying, "Lighten up!" Have you had a conversation like that? When I let the animals lead the conversations, there is often lots of humor and fun personality coming through. One time when I got caught-up in the seriousness of asking questions so that I could get confirmation, one cat was furious with me. She had heard about the fun talks I had with others and expected the same — not this fact-finding mission of mine. Have you tried letting the animals lead? Have you left space for lighthearted talk and humor? Sometimes we don't believe it when we hear it because we aren't open to the concept that some animals like to joke around and explore the fun side of life.
