Back in the Saddle...It's been a very long time since I've practiced doing animal communication. So I started out with some quiet meditation time, enhanced by a binaural music track I found on YouTube called Raising Your Vibration. I want to be in a good state of mind when trying to connect with others. Partway through, I asked if there were any animals who would like to speak with me. Before I even finished the sentence, I saw/felt a massive stampede of animals all showing interest! A big brown bear was in front and most prominent. I said in my head, "But I haven't even finished my question!" They said, "We already knew what you were going to say." I asked, "So if I can hear you talking now, why can't I hear individual animals talk to me when I try?" They said, "You're almost there." And I got a flash of the 30-Day Practice Challenge! I also got a visual of a golden bug or beetle crawling toward me. I looked up the symbolism on the Internet and found Scarab Totem and this message: There will be positive outcomes to the current challenges you are facing. Know that things are rolling to a close and that maintaining integrity, it will soon resolve. So, why gold, I wondered? I searched for golden scarab and found a page about it on ancient Egypt. It said: Gold represented solar or the sun (as opposed to silver for lunar or the moon). The scarab represents the daily cycle of the morning sun rising once again. Everyday, the sun crossing the sky is a rebirth, another chance to make life good. What will you do with your chance today? See how you can find meaningful messages all around you if you are looking? I could have stopped after the initial imagery and messages from the animals, thinking it was all in my imagination and that I made it up (and I may have!). Instead, I chose trust and went where things were pointing me. There, on an actual website that others can also see (not only in my imagination), were messages meant for me, to help me on my journey, and to help build a conversation between animals and me! A Message From EdvinNext what flitted through my mind is a cat named Edvin who I had been introduced to during my first few months of learning animal communication. He lives across the world from me, but there he was in my mind. So I asked, "Do you remember me?" He answered, "Of course I remember you!" "Can you help me with this (animal communication) work?" I asked. To which he replied: "What work? This is playtime!" Edvin gave me a vision of a black and white cat looking at a toy from all angles, studying it, inspecting it, trying to see how it works, etc. Then, the cat sat observing other cats as they played with the toy so he could see how they used it. And that was the message! (In black and white — simple!) A toy isn't meant to just be studied. You have to get in there and play with it and to see how it works and feels first-hand. That's the same with animal communication. I had been doing lots of studying and watching others doing it, but was hesitant to get in and just do it myself. I then heard someone (maybe me, maybe the collective) say, "But what if I do it wrong?" To which Edvin replied that there is no wrong. It's a toy and is meant for fun and enjoyment. Each person will play with it differently and get a unique experience from it. "Class dismissed for the day," ended this brilliant cat with a knowing, playful smile. If I didn't write all this down and allow myself to feel the meanings and resonance of some of these things, I may not have believed that this all came in. I would have thought I imagined it. I don't think I did, and that's pretty exciting. Especially for Day 1! Now get out there and start playing! Feedback...I was contacted by the person who originally introduced me to Edvin. Her own cat is currently missing and she wrote to tell me a little backstory... "I can't help but wonder ..... Is this also a message from my missing cat? (Edvin's "mom") and I are bestfriends, we've always adopted our cats together, except for once. Maybe that was Edvin telling you that my cat is outside on an adventure, growing up, exploring ...... It really made sense to me. ^_^ I think it was a hidden message from my cat in there. :)"

Interesting idea to just ask if there is anyone that wants to come through - I I have been starting with a specific animal, including photo and name.

Oh Josh - Thank you for sharing this. I really needed to read this today. I'm feeling stuck or weird or like I'm not getting this and this lovely message from Edwin, to see Animal Communication like a toy, to be played with, enjoyed, and to get in there and just play - is just what I needed to hear. THANK YOU Edwin and Josh!
