Hammond, the No-Bull Terrier.I had this idea to experiment with clearing my chakras before imagining a white light filtering through my body, as many meditations ask you to do. So while listening to the solfeggio again, I envisioned each chakra, one by one, clearing so they were crystal, energized, and spinning as they were meant to. I began at the bottom and ended at my crown chakra. Then I imagined a white light filtering down through all of them — now with ease since they were all clean and working right. I took a look at the Speak! freestyle gallery and settled on Hammond, the English Bull Terrier. I introduced myself, explained what I was doing and asked if that sounded okay. He just looked at me a bit curiously, but from a distance, as I talked. When I was done, he answered my question with an expression that said he had decided it sounded alright and then came up and licked my face. "So Hammond," I started, "I noticed in your photo there's an empty bowl near you." "Yeah, that's a crying shame. That thing is more empty than full most of the time." His personality came through loud and clear. "Well, no one can eat full-time. Are you always hungry?" I asked. "What does hungry have to do with it? It's a hobby of mine. I'm good at it." "What makes you so good at it?" "Did you see the bowl? Not a crumb left. I'm good at getting every last crumb." To me, his "voice" was definitely male and a bit gruffer, with lots of what you would imagine stereotypical "working class" personality. I continued, "What else do you like to do?" He yawned. "Tennis balls. Walks. Tug-o-war with rope." (I see a multi-colored rope for dogs.) "Do you ever chase anything like squirrels?" Gives a short laugh, like Ha! "Those things aren't designed to be caught. Too fast. I save my strength for other things." "Like what?" I queried. "Car rides. Now that's fun. You get the speed without the work." I was seeing a trend here. "Anything else you want to tell me?" He was very friendly now. "I'll tell you, if you're ever in my neck of the woods, you should drop by." "I'd like that," I replied. "Thank you!" But I was curious, "Why do I hear your voice like I do?" "Because you want to hear it that way." "You don't really sound like that?" "I have a certain personality and energy that comes across to you and your mind creates a voice to match that." "That really makes sense," I commented. "So someone else could come along and talk to you and hear you in a different way?" "Yep. It's all about the filter." "So what else do you want to talk about? Can you show me where you sleep?" I wondered. I see a brown furry blanket or bed, kind of like a brown bear's fur. I took that to mean that's where he sleeps, but then he explained further. "No, that's a great spot (referring to the furry place). But I can sleep just about anywhere." "That must be convenient. I would have trouble with that." "So is this a two-way share now?" (Breaks into a "just joking" smile and licks me.) "Are there any other animals living with you at home?" I continued. I see a black-and-white animal that reminds me more of a skunk than a cat. "Is that a skunk or a cat you're showing me?" "I'm showing you a cat, but you're getting how she smells to me." I'm unclear whether the cat lives there or just visits or if Hammond goes somewhere and visits her home. "Anything else you want to tell me?" I see a visual of him eating macaroni and cheese. He looks up from it and gives me the thumbs up. "You want me to pass that info on to your people?" "Please do. This stuff is delicious." Wow. What a character. I was sorry I was out of time to talk, so ended, "I've really enjoyed our conversation. Thank you for taking the time to talk to me!" "Sure, anytime. Remember the mac 'n' cheese." "Got it. See ya, Hammond!" I gave him a big hug and smiled. He kind of light-heartedly smirked in a "yeah, that was fun" kind of way. Feedback:Glad you and Hammy had a nice conversation. Much of it did seem pretty on. A few points of clarification & of interest are that Hammond does indeed live with a black & white animal but she is a dog not a skunk or cat. The brown furry bed he showed you is the black and white dog's bed. The two of them have an interesting relationship. The kisses are how he greets everyone once he has decided he likes them. Another animal communicator compared his personality to Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang so I found the filter comment very interesting. I think the Sheldon analogy is probably pretty accurate as far as his personality around the house. He does chase squirrels but has yet to catch any much to my relief. He does clean his bowl & his dog sister's too! We don't give them people food so I don't know when he even would have tried it but he does get a cheese & bacon training treat that he will do anything for, I mean anything!
