On Track with a Track Star.I listened to The Frequency of LOVE Solfeggio 528 Hz and it was very calming. I again cleared my chakras and envisioned white light moving through them from above down into the earth and back again. I asked if anyone wanted to talk to me, but didn't see or hear anything. So I went on the Speak! Freestyle page and decided to speak with Gundi, a male thoroughbred horse. He has a gentle energy and demeanor and a somber confidence. I explained what I'm doing and asked if he'd like to talk. He said he has a few moments, so I asked what else he has to do. "I'm always training," he said. "For what?" I asked. "I race." "Do you like it?" "Sometime I wonder why I do it. The crowds are cheering me on, but they don't even know me. I'm deeper than a race," he explained with wisdom. "You wish people knew who you really are?" I tried to sum up what I was hearing as well as feeling. <Nods enthusiastically> "I'm interested," I assured him. "Do you want to tell me?" <A feeling of "yes" and happiness and "that would feel good"> So we began. "What do you like?" "The smell of flowers. Meadows. Mornings. Apples. People who take their time instead of rushing around. I don't like when there's something we have to do. It's too hurried." "You seem like a very gentle spirit and not at all how I would imagine a race horse to be," I observed. "Because I am calm and steady, I don't get spooked. So I do well. But I prefer a quieter way." "That sounds like me," I said, finding a connection with him. "I understand that." <Nods head> I get the feeling he is not unhappy going along with this life, but there is a longing. His heart is calling for something peaceful. I asked if he has other friends to share with. I see a lighter brown horse in a stall who is frenetically trying to get his attention, more in an annoying way. He shrinks from these advances. The energy is too intense. "Are there any horses you do like spending time with?" I see a palomino-colored female who's a bit spunky but also sweet and loving. He has an affinity for her. I also see a black-and-white cat who is gentle and seems to come around and likes to nuzzle him. "What about the other horses you meet when racing?" I asked. "Sometimes we talk about food and life," he explained. "But some of the horses are so focused on winning that's all they think about. Their body is on the track but their mind (and being) is off-track. We don't consider it healthy for a horse." The "we" I understood as "horses." "Do you have healing abilities?" I inquired. Something felt like he did. "Many of us do. I can align my energy with others to help get them back on track. Sometimes it helps them think better, feel better, move better." "What happens when you don't feel well?" I wondered. He explained, "Others (horses) can help me in this way, just like humans use Reiki and similar healing energies for people." "Is there anything I can do for you?" <Thinks a moment> "You have already done it — by connecting with me. It feels good to know someone understands." "I'm glad. We do seem alike in many ways," I agreed. "Any messages for your people?" "I know they love me and I'm well cared for. If they listen to my spirit, they can tune in to who I am and what I need even better." "Okay, I will let them know. Thank you for such a wonderful, gentle talk." <Nods gently in agreement> I feel like Gundi would be a healing, calming presence for others in need, and perhaps he already is. Feedback from his People:Gundi is not a race horse. He raced till he was 2 or 3. He has been living with us for 10 years. He has a very peaceful life with the two mare friends and a mare over the fence. He doesn't get ridden but we go for walks. Gundi is very intelligent. At the moment he is waiting for me at the house gate. He is letting me know he would love another apple. We have to do this quietly so the mares dont see it cause Gundi gets more food them them as they founder easliy but being a Thoroughbred he doesn't have this problem. Thank you for taking the time wanting to get to know him. He is a true honey. Interpretation:If you compare my conversation with Gundi and the report back from his people, you could say I missed the mark. He is no longer a racehorse, though much of my conversation was surrounding that part of his life as if he were currently living it. Did I fail? I thought so originally. But thanks to some help from my wife in reinterpreting things from a larger point of view, I think it's likely I got it all right. Clearly, Gundi was enmeshed in a life that was as regimented and even possibly as traumatizing as being in the army. That's often an experience that not only reshapes who you are and how you approach life, but stays with you often for life. What if I tapped into the Gundi who was still in that "zone?" What if he is still not over that experience, is still trying to process it, and he just wanted to be able to tell his side of the story? This is one interpretation taking a larger view and it makes sense to me.
