TikliFemale native dog of IndiaTikli started life as a stray in a public park, where she suddenly began to be attacked by other dogs (who were earlier friends) and humans alike, so developed fear-based aggression. We adopted her a year ago when moving from Delhi to a village in the Himalayas. She still has trauma (nightmares, incessant barking), has not adjusted fully to my earlier rescues (mother and son), and is sometimes very aggressive with them and even humans. Her earlier manifestations of trauma have suddenly intensified to major neurological issues, with hormonal imbalance akin to Cushing Syndrome. Intention:That she feels safe and at peace, wrapped in unconditional love and support, and lives joyfully and harmoniously with the others.

RaniFemale native dog of IndiaRani lives in the parking lot of a commercial complex. She is subjected to ongoing physical danger and harm due to anti-social elements, so she tries to hide away. Though her children are also there, she stays by herself, looks sad and resigned to her fate. She is gentle and affectionate but has no friends. I live 400 km away and have arranged for her food and treatment (which she needs regularly for deep wounds), but feel helpless in not being able to do anything more. There is no option for relocating her. Intention:That she lives out her time on Earth in peace and joy at the sanctuary that has agreed to take her and that all works out well for her and her son.
BellaBella is very hyper and fun to be around but has difficulty calming down sometimes. She needs constant interaction and needs to be glued to me all the time if I am at home. Intention:To be fully relaxed and let me know how I can help her be happier. |
