Ju was rescued, along with her five siblings, from the streets of Belo Horizonte, Brazil in December 2014. She was sick with distemper and her new family (who adopted ALL of them!) worked hard to save her life and nurse her back to health. Thanks to a raw diet, holistic care, homeopathy, acupuncture, and reiki, she is doing well except for a lingering myoclonus in her front leg, which makes her involuntarily twitch it. She no longer has any control over that leg (see picture). She also has frequent seizures that are impossible to control through medication alone.
To be happy, healthy, and seizure-free so she can fully enjoy her life with her family.
